Most recently, he served as a member of the Workforce Innovation and Economic Innovation Policy Committees for the Biden-Harris 2020 Presidential Campaign. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the City of Newark’s Workforce Development Board. Sam is a well-known community leader in New Jersey who has helped prepare thousands of students to successfully enter the workforce through his role as an Adjunct Professor at the Global Sports Business MS Program at Rutgers University. He also sits on the Advisory Board at Athlete Ally, a nonprofit that provides public awareness campaigns, educational programming, and tools and resources to foster inclusive sports communities. By partnering with nonprofits at the local and national level, Sam has helped bring much-needed educational and training resources to those who need it most. Under Sam’s leadership, 1Huddle partners with organizations like Covenant House, the All Stars Project, and Saving Jane to make a lasting impact in communities across America.
