Xin (David) Ding is an assistant professor of Supply Chain Management and the director for the Healthcare Analytics and Intelligence master program at Rutgers Business School. His research examines the demand-supply relationship in the healthcare context. Specifically, he applies econometric and analytical models to study factors associated with cost efficiency, clinical quality, patient experience, and health disparity. His research has provided insights on how operations strategies help healthcare organizations further improve their performance and population health. His research receives support from the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, National Sciences Foundation, and Project Management Institute.
