The Social Impact Fellows program develops enterprise-ready graduate students with the mindset, mentorship, and cross-functional fluency to lead purpose-driven innovation in any business setting—positioning Rutgers Business School as a leader in advancing business education for social good. The program encourages a systems-level view of how business functions work together to drive meaningful change—helping graduate students understand the full potential of business to create positive impact in the areas of Health, Climate, and Shared Prosperity. Through coursework, executive mentorship, experiential learning, and AI for social good, students build the knowledge, confidence, and networks needed to lead across diverse business functions.

Each Student is:

  • Enrolled in program for 1-year (academic) fellowship
  • Matched with an Executive-in-Residence (EIR) or Strategic Advisor (SA) for 1:1 mentorship and coaching
  • Sponsored by a leading purpose-driven company aligned with one of RICSI’s three focus areas,
  • Guided to complete classroom and a real-world applied project tied to that company’s impact priorities

Fall 2026 Semester: Foundations

Spring 2027 Semester: Applied Fellowship

  • Complete Experiential Learning Project
  • Final presentation to sponsors, Rutgers community, and RICSI leadership
  • Possible networking; Professional Development event attendance
